Nursery Class
Age 3 - 5 years
9.00am - 10am

This class covers tap, ballet, jazz, cheerleading, hip hop and so much more. Our class helps children find their dancing feet! Learning how to count music, perform, be creative and achieving skills through dance related games! The class also helps develop pre-school social skills and often introduces children to other children who they may end up in the same primary school as.
P1/2 Class
9.00am - 10am
Location: Uddingston Old Parish Church, Old Glasgow Road, Uddingston, G71 7HF
Building on from our nursery class this class covers tap, ballet, jazz, cheerleading, hip hop and so much more. And allows our children to continue developing their skills in counting music, performance, being creative and achieving skills through dance related games!
P3/4 Class
10am - 12pm

Our P3/4 classes allow our children to begin to develop a deeper understanding of the fundamentals of dance. Our classes run for 2 hours and cover commercial and technical styles. Our commercial styles are dynamic, energetic, addictive and havv a big focus on performing! Pupils learn dances in cheerleading and hiphop/streetdance. Our technique styles covers tap, ballet and jazz - these three styles compliment each other perfectly and is perfect for building poise, stamina, showmanship and the more technical aspects of dance.
P5/6 Class
10am - 12pm

Our P5/6 class nurtures young dancers by building on their foundational skills and introducing them to new dance techniques. This 2 hour class includes both commercial and technical dance styles. The commercial segment is lively and fun, focusing on performance skills through cheerleading and hip-hop/street dance routines. The technical segment introduces pupils to the basics of tap, ballet, and jazz, fostering coordination, rhythm, and grace. This class is ideal for enhancing creativity, physical fitness, and a love for dance
P7/S1 Class
10am-12pm

Our P7/S1 class further develops our dancers by building on their foundational skills and introducing them to new dance techniques. Our commercial style is dynamic, energetic, addictive and has a big focus on performing! Pupils learn dances in cheerleading and hiphop/streetdance. Our technique style covers tap, ballet and jazz - these three styles compliment each other perfectly. This class is perfect for building poise, stamina, showmanship and the more technical aspects of dance.
S5+ Class
7pm - 9pm
Location: Burnhead Parish Church, 92-94 Laburnum Road, Viewpark, Uddingston, G71 5DB
Our most senior class ties in all previous learning to help our pupils become confident dancers who may wish to take dance further or train to become dance teachers in the future or simply come to classes for their love of dance. Our class runs over two hours covering two important styles - commercial and technique. Our commercial style is dynamic, energetic, addictive and has a big focus on performing! Pupils learn dances in cheerleading and hiphop/streetdance. Our technique style covers tap, ballet and jazz - these three styles compliment each other perfectly. This class is perfect for building poise, stamina, showmanship and the more technical aspects of dance.
Non-competitive classes
At CMDance Academy there is no competition work, we focus on fantastic training and producing work of high standard without the additional costs of the competitive world!
Pupil's have the opportunity to perform at local community events, their annual show and dance school organised events and we feel this falls in line with our ethos of CMD being about confidence, friendships and fun!
We can also offer B.A.T.D exams on request.
